America's First Public Health Museum.


The Public Health Museum in the Boston area offers a large collection of Art, WPA Murals, Furniture, Records, Equipment, 1800-1960 Medical Equipment, Books and Ledgers for Rent to the Film Industry.

Public health is the science of protecting and improving the health of people and their communities, achieved by promoting healthy lifestyles, researching disease and injury prevention, and detecting, preventing and responding to infectious diseases. The Museum Inspires future practitioners, educates the public, and advances the

​future of public health through partnerships with academic institutions. The museum is currently closed to the public until further notice in an effort to slow the transmission of the Covid-19.

The Public Health Museum is an independent 501(c)3 organization, housed in the historic Richard Morris building (also known as the Old Administration Building) of Tewksbury Hospital in Massachusetts. The Museum occupies six rooms on the ground floor of the Old Administration Building and includes both permanent and temporary exhibits.
